Google Chrome is second most popular browser in the UK
Google Chrome is more now slightly more popular than Mozilla’s Firefox in the UK. Google Chrome becomes UK’s second most popular web browser.
All major browsers have changed since Chrome was released about three years ago.

Alternative to JavaScript

HTML noscript tag
Most browsers allow users to disable JavaScript. Some browsers for simple devices or older computers do not support JavaScript. Site owners can use the noscript tag to provide content to all visitors.
Everything that is surrounded by the noscript tags will only be displayed if JavaScript is disabled or not supported by the browser.

Google drops support for old browsers

Plans to support modern browsers
On June 01, 2011, the official Gmail Blog and the Google Docs Blogs featured a post by Google’s VP of Engineering. A copy of the post is available at Our plans to support modern browsers across Google Apps.
Google wants to take advantage of features available in modern browsers. These features include desktop notifications and “drag-and-drop file upload”. Google has set a date for when support for older browsers will end.
