The video begins by setting up website content. The website content will be compressed.

The tutorial is broken up into four parts. The first creates PHP files in the web root folder. The second part creates a “.htaccess” file with Apache instructions.

The third part enables the “mod_deflate” Apache module. The final part consists of testing uncompressed and compressed content using “curl”.
