Part One of One

Follow path of the current file must be enabled manually. In order to use the terminal, the message window must be visible.

Ojambo.com reviewed Geany as part of cross-platform lightweight programming editors.

The tutorial is broken up into two parts. The first enables the follow path of the current file in the preferences.. The second part displays the message window so that the test can be viewed.

The final output in the terminal shows change folder for the selected project. Geany can be restarted if preferences are changed. Another option to view new preferences is to reload the configuration.
